The three Laser Radial Class Championships: Men's, Youth Male & Youth Female were hosted from Takapuna Boating Club in New Zealand 24th to 29th March. The 195 competitors raced for six days in mostly windy conditions testing fitness and stamina. Australia's Gabrielle King powered through the week to win the Youth Women's Title.

Two Gold Medals for the AST at the 40th SOF Hyeres Regatta.
The Australian Sailing Team has won two classes of the Semaine Olympique Francaise at Hyeres, France. Victoria’s Sarah Blanck claimed victory in the Laser Radials and the current World Champion Tornado team of Sydney’s Darren Bundock and Bendigo’s Glenn Ashby added yet another title to their names.

Australia is back on top in the latest release of the ISAF World Sailing Rankings on 9 April, which feature two changes amongst the world #1 crews.Sarah BLANCK (AUS) moves up to #3 in the Laser Radials Rankings to join the three existing world #1 crews from the Australian Sailing Team and propel the Aussies back to the top of the national standings.
